Não se pode fechar 2024 sem partilhar convosco esta aventura que vivemos no projeto EcoCoWaLa.
Entre 6 e 11 de outubro de 2024, estivemos na Itália para o segundo encontro com os nossos parceiros da Naturfreunde Steiermark e do Gruppo Italiano Amici della Natura – GIAN enquadrado no programa Erasmus+ da agência europeia.

No ambiente montanhoso espetacular da Lombardia, aproveitamos as atividades preparadas pelas duas equipas Amici della Natura Ledro Inselberg e Amici Della Natura Saviore.
Os objetivos estão alinhados com o conteúdo do EcoCoWaLa (COnnecting WAter and LAnd):
– Compreensão do contexto ambiental local, nomeadamente os desafios ligados à produção hidroelétrica nesta região.
– Avaliação da intensidade da cidadania ativa em relação com o voluntariado ambiental e social.
– Imersão em atividades com jovens para experimentar e avaliar a nossa capacidade de implementar processos de educação “transformadora”.
– Partilha com o grupo do projeto e definição das linhas de trabalho futuras.

O objetivo principal é a co-redação e divulgação de um guia de boas práticas sobre a “Educação Transformativa em Contexto Ambiental”, que já se encontra em fase de redação. 🎯

Esperamos que gostem de conhecer este projeto, não só porque vai haver seguimento, mas também porque estamos muito satisfeitos com a intensidade humana e intelectual que permitiu esta iniciativa. Entretanto, vamos trabalhar na produção da guia até ao próximo encontro em junho de 2025 na Áustria.

We can’t close 2024 without sharing with you the adventure we’ve had with the EcoCoWaLa project.
Between 6 and 11 October 2024, we were in Italy for the second meeting with our partners from Naturfreunde Steiermark and the Gruppo Italiano Amici della Natura – GIAN, as part of the European Agency’s ERASMUS+ program.

In the spectacular mountain environment of Lombardy, we enjoyed the activities prepared by the two GIAN teams Amici della Natura Ledro Inselberg and Amici Della Natura Saviore.
The objectives are in line with the content of EcoCoWaLa (COnnecting WAter and LAnds):
– Understanding the local environmental context, in particular the challenges linked to hydroelectric production in this region.
– Assessment of the intensity of active citizenship in relation to environmental and social volunteering.
– Immersion in activities with young people to experiment and assess our ability to implement ‘transformative’ education processes.
– Sharing with the project group and defining future lines of work.

The main objective is the co-writing and dissemination of a Handbook on ‘Transformative Education in an Environmental Context’, which is already being drafted. 🎯

We hope you enjoy getting to know this project, not only because there will be follow-up, but also because we are very pleased with the human and intellectual intensity that has made this initiative possible. In the meantime, we’ll be working on producing the guide until the next meeting in June 2025 in Austria.
